Located in the charming village of Holme-next-the-Sea along the breath-taking North Norfolk Coast, our Grade II listed pub near Hunstanton offers a warm embrace to all who wander our way.
Whether you’re strolling along the coastline, enjoying a staycation or catching up with family and friends, our coastal Norfolk pub welcomes you home to Holme. All of our tables are bookable, and we have walk-in space at the bar. Dogs are also welcome throughout the pub and bar area.

Brancaster mussels are on the menu at White Horse Holme
Fishing is in Tim Loose’s blood. He’s a 6th generation Brancaster fisherman and his family have been fishing the waters off the north Norfolk Coast for over 180 years. Tim specialises in cockles, mussels and brown shrimps and harvests some of the finest shellfish in the UK - the quality available in Norfolk is second to none. He’s passionate about delivering this to local chefs and fishmongers throughout the county and beyond.
Tim’s mussels are harvested from The Wash and grown on in ‘lays’ at Brancaster, before being graded and processed for sale. His oldest son now works with him, carrying on the Loose’s tradition of fathers, sons and sometimes even grandfathers and grandsons, working alongside each other at Brancaster, passing down generations of knowledge.
Tim’s great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, William (Billy) and Robert Loose, were both coxswains of the then Brancaster lifeboat and local fishermen.
Opening Hours
Indulge in the finest seasonal produce sourced directly from local farmers, fishermen and suppliers, all prepared and cooked in-house by our hand-picked team of expert chefs. From Tim Allen’s Roast Pork Loin with Apple Sauce to our Billy Ward's Lobster Thermidor, we have a sumptuous selection of north Norfolk-inspired dishes to send you on a gastronomic adventure.
